Daily reminder, chickfila is shit. Mcdonalds won the chicken sandwich war. There's literally no reason to go to chickfila. Their fries are shit. The sandwich is dry as shit and doesn't come with any sauce. I can go to mcdonalds get a large fry, two spicy chicken sandwhiches and a large dr pepper for the same price as a meal at chickfila. Roaming Rooster is a local chain in DC that sells a pretty good Nashville Chicken Sandwich, it’s the winner of the chicken sandwich wars locally afaic. More expensive than a mcdick’s sandwich but they give you two chicken cutlets on your sandwich so it’s a decent amount of food.

Only problem is more often than not their fries are inedible dogshit. Disgustingly mushy and they get actually slimy on the outside if you let them sit more than five minutes. Makes me gag. Maybe the fry cook at the location closest to me just fucks them up every time, idk. I keep ordering them because I have a hard time believing it’s possible to make fries so consistently disgusting but every time I’m disappointed.
