I have traveled all over the United States and can confidently say that Maryland has the best food of anywhere. Their seafood is miles ahead of anywhere else. Great Italian food. They have a food culture that doesn't exist in most places. The only other place that comes close is Chicago.

Maryland has a fantastic food scene in the baltimore washington corridor and if you're willing to include DC itself and a bit of northern virginia, then it really can't be beat outside of chicago, NYC, or LA.

Maryland is outclassed for every type of food, Massachusetts has better seafood, Texas has better barbecue, Louisiana has better soul food, DC has more Michelin star restaurants. Maryland is a mediocre hodgepodge of foods, just like the state itself

No shit dumbass, that's everywhere. Being from MI, a beer would cost you $2.50 at bars that only sold hot dogs or popcorn. The places are always packed and making (concerningly good) money and it wasn't because the food.

These bars all have menus a mile long with frufru items like "award-winning" poke-tuna nachos. Lose the pretentious menu to cut food costs. Labor costs shouldn't be an issue since half the places in Fed Hill only have like 3 servers and a couple chefs working at any given time.
