Anyone here tried the John the Baptist diet? Not sure where I'd get wild honey but I guess I could substitute some local honey?

Locusts are clean according to the Bible, and no other bugs
Anyway I'm looking for serious discussion
Where could I acquire locusts? Are they safe to catch in the USA?

Get your Locusts from Egypt. As for honey, just follow a bee home and gank some honey while them lil mafcks are sleeping.

lots of recent theories surrounding John the Baptist say he was an Essene, and this somehow points to him not being allowed to eat anything made by another person. The locusts and honey was what he ate instead of food that others might prepare for him.
