One of the sludgiest for sure, had a Trillium one that rivaled this one in being the consistency of jam. Pic related.

The jammy sours can be very good, and have their time and place, but I don't think they're as good as the more refined fruited sours. It takes more skill to create a well balanced fruited sour.

I'd have a mug shot of that fou for you, but I'm saving it for a special occasion.

Agreed. I thought this style was low alcohol, around 3-4%. I've had it served with a favored syrup.

You can avoid estrogens if you drink Gruits. Those are ancient beer recipes that typically feature more stimulant like additives rather than estrogenic hops.

I used to brew a lot of beer. It would be nice to get back into it. I'd like to do 3%ish abv super refreshing beer, wheat, pale ale, or kettle sour and keg it because I don't really get drunk very often.

My plum tree is almost ready to be harvested. I've made about 45 gallons of plum wine the last 2 years that I age in a used wine barrel for 1 year then 2 years in the bottle.

250lbs of plums, 75lbs of sugar, 20lbs of golden raisins. 15% and pretty delicious from the couple bottles I've opened.

Am I a queer, specifically for enjoying 'milkshake' IPAs?

>> No.16449096

>>16449022
Enjoy what you enjoy, just be warned hops are one of the most estrogenic additives in beer and initially hops in IPAs were just meant to preserve the ale until India not for flavour.
