I went to an eastern euro grocery and got this and enjoyed it. I later found out it was from lithuania and want to know any other good things that are from lithuania that I should look out for when I go there again

I live in Lithuania
The food here isn't great desu, but they do have a shit ton of ice creams to choose from
Lazy cake (Tinginis) is pretty good though, you should try that if they have it
Most Lithuanian food is basically just slightly modified or even unmodified Russian/eastern-euro food
Probably the only 'unique' thing I can think of are Cepelinai - oval potato dumplings with meat and/or curd filling, served with crispy pork fat bits
Very rich and very filling

I worked at a company that had an office in Lithuania and everyone there was extremely polite and pleasant to deal with. I didn't get to go to Vilnius but my colleagues who did said the same thing and were treated really nicely by random Lithuanians they met

I used to get taken to this little hole in the wall Lithuania spot in Chicago as a kid. I couldn't tell you if it was authentic or not, but I do remember good sauerkraut soup and tasty dark rye bread. I am sure it was some bastard-Americanized bullshit, but it is a good memory if I ignore that.

we have these here in Poland yoo
admittedly they might be lithuanian influence since they're mostly in the eastern part of the country
I think the eldritch abomination cake is also classically lithuanian, isn't it?

They do have that here, under the very Lithuanian name of 'Baumkuchen'
but iirc it's just a generally central European medieval cake, originally from France or Germany probably

That might be why, lots of Lithuanians have a hard on for Americans because the US '''saved''' them from the evil soviets
