Favourite soup?

For me it's vegetable soup with a toasted bread roll.

What a question. I'm all over the map. Like vegetable, minestrone, tomato, ham and bean, beer cheese.

Where the genre starts losing me is when they start getting too fancy. "Loaded baked potato" and "Rustic creamy tomato."

Prefer it to have it's simplicity highlighted.

vegetable soup with meatballs or some nice beef, preferably still on the bone. I like keto meatball soup a lot.

If we're including the Asian soups that are a meal in themselves, gotta go with pho. If we're talking American style soups that are more for a lunch or as a side for dinner, it gets complicated. Hard to beat a good chicken noodle/dumpling when the weather is foul. Summer days with a grilled cheese and a bowl of tomato soup are incredibly comfy. Fall lunch with a bowl of minestrone is always good. A good NE clam showdair goes with most anything.

Lobster bisque, kale potato sausage or some good pho.
