was it a dash waffle maker? I bought one of those off amazon for like $6 shipped. it is neat but you have to do one mini waffle at a time which is annoying and I have to cook them for longer than the manual suggests. you also have to wait for the thing to heat back up between waffles or else you will cool it off too much with the next batter.

Looks good, OP. Personally I prefer my waffles darker so they're a touch crispier. Gummy waffles just leave something to be desired.
