What's your monthly food budget?

It depends on how much is deposited on my SNAP card that month.

>> No.16406475

Depends. Back when I was living all by myself, I could make about $20-$30 US last me while still eating fairly well. I clipped a lot of coupons and such.
Now that I'm married and have a roomie, our food budget ranges anywhere from $200 to $300 since I'm more ballsy with tossing my money around and cooking proper meals.

I do professional sports betting and real estate. A lot of the food expenditure (which may be more or less in a given month) comes from eating out. The menu may be $300, then with say seven cocktails, one bottle each of champagne and red, plus apertifs and digestifs, you can see how that would run up a bill for two.

I'm not even counting the wine that I order. It's cheaper to buy by the case for good wines, but since I'm not drinking them all in a given month, I've left it out.
