ITT we share actually useful non-meme cooking "life hacks" and "secret tips". I'll start with a few.

After cutting chilis rub your hands with vinegar or lemon juice to kill the heat on your hands.

To easily peel garlic lightly crush it with the side of your knife.

To clean off flour: Apply more flour to sticky bits. Use a bench scraper to scrape off all larger bits and put them in the trash. Clean the remaining thin layer of flour with a wet cloth.

To prevent cutting boards or bowls from moving put a cloth underneath.

Buy a wooden spatula. They're very cheap and versatile. You can use it to flip, stir, scrape or break down stuff

Garlic isn't fucking hard to peel, just squeeze the edges with your fingers and the entire skin comes off instantly. You can learn to do this in 5 minutes
Don't add salt to your meat rubs. This takes you out of control of the saltiness. Salt meat/brine before applying rub, and again after cooking after tasting if necessary

Always put at least some kind of alcohol in your meal, like deglazing your pans with it, as soon as I started doing this all the fucking time my cooking improved immensely. I'm aware most people know about this, but it's usually red/white wine only, but port wine is great too. If a recipe calls for red wine at least use a little bit of port, gives much more depth and a pleasant sweetness. Also use brandys like cognac, in your desserts of course, but also in normal cooking, especially to deglaze roasted meat bits. Experiment with other types maybe, I noticed it's really hard to go wrong, but I also only use alcohol I would drink neat too.

Also I have this from some other anon, if your cooking tastes bland (no depth) it's lacking either salt or acidity, most people put on the salt but quickly forget that a dash of vinegar (I often use a tarragon infused one) or lemon juice can really make a dish.

When you've sexed a little girl and need to dispose of her in the woods, first pull out her teeth and nails and leave them in a bottle of coca cola to dissolve them.
When you're in the woods, dig a hole straight down and put her in there upside down. Then pour a load of yoghurt into her pussy. The bacteria will eventually eat her out from the inside.
You can thank me later.
