Yes, but only after cooking to rinse off some of the unhealthy grease and to rehydrate it as I like my chicken very well done to prevent botulism

>Washing the chicken is pointless!!! You'll never wash off the bacteria!!!
No shit. You rinse it to wash off the antimicrobial agents they spray on it for the extended shelf life, plus whatever shit the chicken came in contact with at the processing plant.
>The industrial spray can't hurt you!!! It gets cooked anyway!
The dirt on vegetables can't hurt you either if it's cooked, you still wash it off because you don't want to eat dirt. Not to mention you don't actually know how heat resistant these agents actually are.
>Washing it sprays bacteria water everywhere!!!!!
Rinse in a pot instead of directly in the sink, like a normal person.
>It just makes the chicken wet!!!!! It'll get soggy when cooking!!!!!
Paper towels exist.
>So you're just gonna waste paper towels just to rinse the shitty industrial antimicrobial agents off your chicken?!?!?!?!
Yes. I have a job with a good income, it's a worthy investment.
>W-w-w-well I still think it's stupid!!!!!!
Fine, eat the industrial spray. It's completely up to you. I'd prefer not to, though.

>Acidified sodium chlorite (ASC), chlorine dioxide, hypochlorous acid, peracetic acid (PAA), and cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) are antimicrobials approved for carcass and parts applications

This is the first google result, dig deeper to develop a more extensive list. But you won't, so don't worry about it. Just eat the spray.

Sometimes I wish I was this stupid. How nice life would be if I didn't care that my dirty chicken covered hands were touching everything in the house. Didn't realize that I'm not supposed to wash my meat with soap. Didn't know that jews are behind everything evil in the world. Just happy, and stupid.

I do wash it of couse, why wouldn't you. I don't wash it with soap though obviously, just rinse it with water, let all the water drip, and dry with paper towels before cooking. And this goes to everything i use to cook, beef, fruits, vegetables, etc. I don't even know why you retarded muricans are debating this, this shit is common sense. So is washing your asshole after you take a shit but you don't do that either, so eat all the dirt and bacteria with your food.

>How nice life would be if I didn't care that my dirty chicken covered hands were touching everything in the house.
Do you actually care about that lol? I close and open the oil, use the spice shakers, close and open the water, etc while prepping my chicken to be roasted. Same for beef and pork.
The only time I got bacterial poisoning was when I was traveling and hadn't been in a kitchen for days.
Maybe rubbing a whole raw chicken on your face would be gross, but it's funny to think people are all scared to touch anything after touching chicken.
Do you wash your hands like 50 times while handling chicken between using many different ingredients, utensils, the faucet, etc? lol
