I can eat pretty much everything, but there is something about corn I truly loathe. Maybe the texture combined with the sweetness.
How to make it palatable?

If you can't stand corn your palate is scorched earth.

Try eating child corn. It's much nicer. Oh sorry, baby corn.

It's too sweet for me, I avoid it, but like it's not bad. Charring it would probably help, I guess, but's corn. It's mostly gonna taste like corn.

Try other forms of corn. Get some canned hominy and cook it in a pan with some butter and seasoning. I like salt and pepper, but you can put a lot of different things, like garlic, parsley, cheese, paprika, etc. It has a much different texture, too. It's much starchier, and the skin isn't crisp.

I've also had a couple of frozen varieties that I can't buy fresh. There was a purple and yellow Korean one and picrelated, choclo. The Korean one is less sweet and more starchy, but it still resembles sweet corn. Choclo isn't sweet at all. It's like hominy, but the inside is softer and the skin has more pop. I steam the Korean one and boil the choclo.
