Have you ever bought or made a pie/cake to be consumed entirely by yourself? Asking for a friend of course.

Yeah but I usually have to freeze it and eat it over a few months. Last one I bought was a pumpkin.

No but my girlfriend broke up with me via phone call while I was in the airport once on layover and I got drunk on double vodka/clubs, ate 4 plates of Oysters at the airport seafood bar, then cried at my gate.

I use this every year for my ricotta pies. It's the best
>1 1/2 cup flour
>1 tsp baking powder
>1/3rd cup sugar
>2 egg yolks
>1/3rd cup whole milk
>1/3rd cup of GOOD olive oil
>1 tsp vanilla
>1 tsp almond
Idk how much mileage you'll get for different kind of pies. It's a very wet sort of crust but it works perfectly for how I want my ricotta pies

Use this recipe, it's the best I've found.
Ricotta pies are pure bliss
They're good any time of year and use the ricotta as a base for any flavor. Mix in some jam for a fruit ricotta pie type thing. Mix in pumpkin pie filling in the fall. Or just eat it plain.

used to make my own pizza pies. Flat and deepdish. Sauce was Alton Brown Red Sauce, cheese was stand or smoked mozzarella or mixture of moz, and cheddar.

Never made any sweet pies but did used to make apple pie from scratch when I was a kid with my gf's mom.

Yes, it was canned san marzano tomatos. The other can/diced/smoked ones were good to. At the time I lived in the north east, in an apartment 5 floors up. Only plants I was able to grow: snake plant. Either way, homemade pizza is free of the funny biz that happens at Dominos.
