slice in thin pieces>boil>take out ginger>steep green tea. you now have super healthy ginger flavored green tea.

>> No.16356651

ginger has some spiciness, but in sort of a different way than peppers
I put a little grated ginger into my french toast egg mixture along with the cinnamon and nutmeg, adds just a little kick that elevates the entire thing
really, just familiarize yourself with the taste of ginger and you'll figure out how to use it
eat some raw, eat some cooked, you won't enjoy it but will learn a lot

Use a microplane used for zesting. It's good for turning ginger and garlic into a near-paste and dissolving in things. Ginger has a sweet bite to it.

Other than that carve it into a plug shape and put it in your partners ass so they stay perky. Just don't lose it.

Ginger is great. It can cure headaches, soothe bellyaches and boost testosterone production.

I mostly use it in stir fry dishes. Tonight I'm having chicken thighs with cabbage and sugar snaps. I'm adding ginger, garlic, apple vinegar, sweet soy sauce, cayenne pepper, a tiny bit of cumin and some sesame oil.

Ginger tea is nice too. Just peel and chop, put in hot water for ~30 minutes and add some lemon juice.

>1-2 Tbsp finely grated ginger
>1-2 Tbsp finely grated garlic
>8 Tbsp honey
>3 Tbsp lemon juice
>3 Tbsp soy sauce
>1 Tbsp cayenne
>salt and pepper to taste
Mix all in a bowl.
Poor half into a sealable bag along with a pork tenderloin. Allow to marinate at least 2 hours.
Heat oven to 400.
Pan sear tenderloin on high heat on each side until golden brown.
Brush the remaining marinade on like a glaze. Oven for 15 mins.
Rebrush glaze on top then broil for 3 mins to caramelize.
Let rest 5-10.
Serve with complimentary Asian flavor side and plum wine.
Get mad poon.

It's good if you want a floral heat flavor
ginger is really mild in comparison to peppers, but it still packs a punch
you can also use it to denature proteins, which is why it's used in marinades

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Figging
Figging is the practice of inserting a piece of skinned ginger root into the human anus or the vagina in order to generate an acute burning sensation. Historically this was a method of punishment, but it has since been adopted as a practice of BDSM.

Ginger, garlic, and onion is the base for so many different asian dishes kinda like the mirepoix for france or the trinity for the US south. I use it a lot in ferments, i'm not sure whats in it but it makes the fermentation process a lot more active
