Does /ck/ cook catfish? I'm going to be frying up a bunch of fish tonight. Anyone have any good recipes that would make my fried fish even better?

I heard catfish is called basa in the west. Bought 8 huge frozen filets of it last night for 6.99, made shui zhu yu with 3 of them, leftover spicy fish soup tonight.

If I was frying white fish I'd do haddock but only because I know it's overstocked where I live.

I buy it in a restaurant and don't have the recipe, but it's Deep fried catfish stir-fried with chili paste, mint leaves, and red bell peppers. Tastes amazing and outside is crispy.

What I remember as chinese food growing up as a young kid in Hong Kong

Americans have no idea how bad it really is. No one in china knows what the fuck beef and broccoli is or sweet and sour pork. Chinese food is disgusting. Literally the worst parts to eat of any animal. Makes sense because chinks are the race of humans closest to animals. They make disgusting noises when they eat, slurp everything, men in the streets lift their fucking wife beaters over their sweaty stomachs while laughing and chewing with their mouths full of food. Like what kind of idiot decided 2 sticks is the most practical way to eat grains of fucking rice. Starving Nigerians who eat grass have a better diet than the average chinese.

I routinely fry catfish

i just batter them in storebought seasoned fish fry
enjoy them with lemon, or tartar saus
usually i just use veggie oil, but i used to use lard.
