Alcohol distinctly my finer skills - calligraphy, poetry, shaving meat and vegetables into transparent slices by hand - but helps me be less antisocial at social gatherings. I enjoy a buzz, but dislike being helplessly drunk. I'm somewhat sensitive to caffeine, so overexerting myself while jacked up on the black water gives me some serious jitters. The end result's more effective (I did it for three months just to see), but I hate the feeling enough to avoid it.

Based. Drinking alcohol is a meme. You feel the exact same except physical tasks/perception are a bit harder, and if you keep drinking past that point you just feel sick. I've drank until I was throwing up the entirety of the next day a few times, and at no point did I magically become talkative or confessional or emotional or confident or rowdy or feel different in literally any way, other than feeling sick. If you drink a little bit, it's true you can get a buzz, but it's short-lived and not particularly great, and it quickly transitions into just feeling dehydrated and shitty later on.
