This really is the best beverage out there. It pairs perfectly well with anything. Even sweet foods.
If I had a restaurant, I'd recommend pairing my finest steaks with a cold glass of Coke.

it just steps on some flavors, though. for me, if the dish is your pretty straight forward fatty/salty/greasy type it's usually better with coke. but next time you're going to have a bit more nuanced meal, for example fish, ratatouille, prime rib, just do water. you'll be able to taste it more. there are some foods I straight up would refuse to eat without soda, like a bacon cheeseburger or fried chicken.
