baking without feeling bad

I wanna make all kinds of tasty pies and cakes but all of that stuff is unhealthy and I feel like crap because I want to stay /fit/ as well.
what do? are healthy snacks fun to make and tasty?

I love baking too but if you just moderate yourself to ya know. One slice. It's not so bad. Feed friends, share. That's what food is for, not gorging.

Intermittent fasting, and make sure you share your treats so that you're not eating the entire cake (unless you planned your fast around that). I make a cheesecake that's around 1k calories per slice, but that'll become my main meal for the day. It makes you feel like shit having that much quick burn sugar and nothing substantial for lunch or dinner, but it's worth it for the cheesecake.

limit yourself to baking this food once every week or 2. Substitute your desire to bake sweets with baking heartier and healthier foods too.

Look up some savory cake recipes. They're still calorie dense, but at least it's not all filled out with sugar.

Enjoy cake in moderation and also exercise more. An hour of cycling or half an hour of running gives you (very roughly) 500 extra calories to play with which is more than enough for a slice of cake

I make pumpkin pie bars with no-added sugar chocolate chips. Tastes like pumpkin pie. You can make them slightly cakier by using oat flour and less milk/liquid. The ones I make have about 600 calories for a big pan, so even if you end up getting a ton of it, it's not going to ruin your day, calorie-wise.

Buy America's Test Kitchen Cooking for 2. The meals are too much work for just a night of food but the desserts are all small-scale and amazing without creating too much in volume. I recommend the Tiramisu and Bread Pudding, but everything is great.

Only downside is you'll need to buy tiny pans for everything, like a 6 inch pie plate instead of the usual.
