Was frying up some Mrs.T’s pirogi yesterday when I stupidly set the hot Lodge cast iron frying pan down on a table placemat, that it turns out out is made from non-heat resistant polyester and now I’ve got melted plastic all over the bottom of the frying pan.

I plan on going to my hotrodder buddy’s house and using a wire wheel to grind the melted plastic off the bottom then finishing it off with a propane torch but until then, I stopped at Meijers and picked up a T-Fal Initiatives 12” non-stick frying pan for $17.00

How did I do (buying the new frying pan, not fucking up the other one…)?

I was temped to buy a 10" Lodge cast iron pan to go with the 8" I fucked up but went with the larger 12" non-stick to give it a try.
