I don't know how anyone can order fries for delivery or takeout. They need to be eaten instantly or else they will just taste gross.

I don't get why people get them to begin with. It's obviously at massive markup, they're not exactly nutritious and they never taste that good

Correct. I think people do this, however, from lack of alternative sides.

This. I never get combo meals.

I don't get people buying anything at this piece of shit. Literally everything they sell is complete trash. Breaking down the burgers piece by piece, not a single thing is tasty on it's own. they even make it possible to make the salad not crispy.

The "shakes" (because there's not enough milk to call it so) literally taste like a high school project on how to make an emulsion that tastes and feels like a strawberry milkshake, using only artificial ingredients. What the fuck.

Why would you willingly spend your money in a place that poisons you?

It’s all a gamble. Fresh-out-of-the-fryer McDonald’s fries are hard to beat in terms of French fries. I’m sure a dozen different anons will say a dozen different restaurants have better fries, but McDonald’s fries are objectively great when fresh.

The problem is, you’ve got at best a 30% chance of them being even close to fresh when you go there. Otherwise, they will indeed turn out like OP describes and be average to awful.

Also depends to a certain degree on the location. Some shithole franchise in the hood tends to cut corners, as opposed to a place run by respectable people.

Best way is to leave them out on counter for days before eating them.

cus if i was ordering food, i'd expect you to do the same for me.

trapping steam in the bag is how they get gross and soggy. Let them cool, seriously.

regardless, i have to put the whole bag into either a sealed duffle bag or similar, to shield it from the cold air condition.
