question to everyone: what are mcdonald's straws like where you live? i'm in australia and recently they changed the plastic straws (which have been the same since i was born in '93) to this shitty thick non-plastic straw that tastes like cardboard and ruins the drink

I've never seen anyone do it, if they order no salt fries late at night I just throw them back in the fryer instead of pouring it out of a basket into a box (this can easily burn you). It's usually blacks who order no salt/cook to order/well done shit.
I get food from there almost every time I work unless my mom's cooking dinner

Last special customer I remember was a dude who was drunk and off his meds, told him he was too drunk to even place an order and he had to leave. Starts yelling in my face then storms outside. The cops get there and they're like "Ah you ran into {whatever his name was} if he comes back you can press charges" then they let him roam the neighborhood free. Another time I was working an overnight shift and a bald 40 something dude comes banging on my front door crying without shoes on. Pointing at his pickup truck saying someones inside there and they're gonna kill me. Later the cops get there and of course he was having a bad trip, they left his pickup there for the night and let him sleep off his high at the police station. Most "weird customers" end up with me calling the cops and the cops chasing them away. Maybe I need to just hit the gym and start chasing them away myself.

I love McDonald's and I'm tired of pretending otherwise. Everyone is always hating on McDonald's, but it's just so good. Last week I ordered it on Wolt and it got delivered literally 10 minutes after ordering. By the way, McDonald's is pretty much the only fast food restaurant in my country (we have one Burger King, a couple of Subways and one KFC near the border). Even now when I'm eating healthier I'm going to continue eating McDonald's, I just love it. I'm probably going to keep eating it for the rest of my life. My favorite order right now is a 20 piece McNuggets meal with sweet and sour sauce and a hamburger (no cheeseburgers because "American Cheese" is the most disgusting thing to come out of America). In the winter, I always order the seasonal Bacon Rosti. The fries, though, are disgusting, I don't know what happened, they used to be delicious. This is not a shill post. I just really enjoy McDonald's.

The only problem I could see with them is the potential for the glue to be a health risk and the hypocrisy. They want to "save the turtles" but are happy to cut down more trees and destroy habitats to make the paper straws.
