I consider Culvers on the same tier as Shake Shack for interesting menu and tasty burger, but if I could not have the Shake Stack big portobella mushrooms with oozy cheese on top of my burger, for sure I would be more excited to eat at Culvers for the curds, or onion rings. Culvers is more comfy decor.

It's a decent source of cheese curds while living away from WI, but even when I lived there it was more of a nice treat than a fast food staple. The burgers definitely stand in their own category, though, I don't think they're easy to compare to the rest of the big chains' burgers. Also, do people outside the Midwest know what blue moon ice cream/frozen custard even tastes like? Easily the GOAT.
