What is the /ck/ meta about the BEST FOOD to take to WORK for LUNCH? No, shut the fuck up, it is not a matter of opinion. The BEST food for work exists and I want to know it.
It must:
>take negligible time to cook
>not need refrigeration
>have ingredients that last long in storage
>taste good
>not make me look like a fucking weirdo creep outcast

Now, ANSWER the QUESTION. You are the food-obscessed fat fucks of 4chan, so do your job and be useful for once.

If you don't have refrigeration but do have power then sandwiches (canned tuna, peanut butter, jam, cheese), packets of chips, museli bars, cup noodles/ramen & packet soups. Basically think about what your mum would have packed for lunch at school.
With refrigeration then just make an additional serving of dinner and take that.

Instant soup was my lunch for years. When your office has a coffee pot or some way to heat water for tea then you've got all you need. It keeps forever and as long as you have a variety it doesnt get old. These Ainsley Harriot ones are legitimately pretty tasty and provide a lot of different flavors so you dont get bored. Theres a ton of sodium in instant soups but they're low calorie and usually fairly low carb. I also find soup filling, but everyone is different.

It’s 200 calories per tart, so you’re getting them essential calories.

oh man at my last job the annoying cunt who was my supervisor decided to microwave fish at lunchtime and by the time I got back from my break the whole office smelled like it. what a cunt.

I find it weird that most people bring lunch to work. If you work some type of physically intensive job then that makes sense, but if your job is mostly sedentary then I don’t see the point. Not eating for 8 or 16 hours (assuming you don’t have breakfast) isn’t very hard to do.

>>16224877
Yeah, no shit. Using literally any aspect of your being burns calories. However, someone who does manual labor or works on their feet all day is going to need more calories than an accountant or office worker.

i don't like eating too much in one sitting, i prefer to space out multiple smaller meals over the day as opposed to having one or two giant ones at the beginning/end
