How fucking lazy can you get to buy a pre-bottled condiment that's nothing but mayo, ketchup, and some other random fixings like pickle juice or hot sauce, all of which 99% of people have in their fridge to begin with. I am a an American.
I have literally had burgers since I was physically able to consume something beyond my mother’s breast milk, which was really just burgers metabolically converted into milk-form.
I proudly eat the food of my people.
But at no point, in a life of consuming burgers, as is my destiny, have I been asked if I desire “burger sauce”.
What is this sauce? Does it enhance the innate power of the burger?

Burger sauce as a burger ingredient is pretty nebulous and varies greatly regionally (even down to families and individual people), but it's generally what I outlined above: some part mayo, some part ketchup or other tomato based condiment, with various other flavorings. I've seen soy sauce, curry powder, rose petal syrup (that was a WEIRD but good burger), all kinds of shit.

If you've ever had a Big Mac, you've had burger sauce.
