Ever had food poisoning? What's the worst it's been? Any cures?

When I was a fat little kid I ate a hotdog that had been sitting outside for hours and wound up spewing for 2 days.

It was so bad I spewing it from both holes. Shit was literally liquid. What didn't make sense was the fact that my asshole was absolutely on fire from the constant shitting but I wasn't even shitting out solids at that point, it was just liquid water, yet still burnt like satan's tongue.

Nope. I try to drink ginger ale to help with the upset stomach and queasiness. Other than that just drink water so I don't cramp up. Food poisoning is fucking horrible because you feel so shit you can't even enjoy anything. All you can do is sit in bed and pray you fall asleep but as soon as you managed to doze off, you're running to the bathroom to puke or shit again. Literal hell.

just got it from mcd's ate an egg mc muffin and i shit and puke all night. My toilets broken so i had to shit in a bucket with trash bag liners. I filled the buckt in 1 night and over the course of the day i've filled another one. I'm feeling "better" now but my stomach still hurts and i still feel queazy

Last year i ate homemade bread that had eggs and milk in it and was 3 days old. It smelled a bit off, but being a poorfag i didn't want to waste it so i ate it. 3 hours after i started shivering with a headache, proceeded with projectile vomiting and diarrhea. I didnt eat anything else that day, the next day i tried a piece of bread(non poisonous) bad idea, couldn't keep it down for more that 5 minutes. This whole ordeal lasted about 3 days, puked stomach acid and shat water, finally felt hungry on the 4th day. The good side of this was i didn't spend money on food for 3 days...

Had it a few weeks ago. Spent the entire first day vomiting and the entire next day shitting. Number one tip is to not hold back the vomit. It's your body's natural process to flush itself of the toxin. The fastest you clean out all your tubes, the faster you can go back to normal.

Of course, you have to make sure to stay hydrated because you're gonna be losing a ton of water and electrolytes. Gatorade/Powerade are a livesaver for this and also providing some easy calories that will stay down.

It can depending on the severity. Between the stress of your body literally wringing itself out of both ends and you shitting out all liquids, electrolytes and nutrients from your digestive tract you can end up in some pretty nasty dehydration scenarios, and one of the side effects of severe dehydration is hallucinating/severe fatigue/impaired cognitive function.

Your body is basically in full on crisis mode because you've shat out/puked out every nutrient you pretty much have.

I had a bad bout of it several years ago on eating some bad chicken fried steak at a diner and by day 3 the room was basically spinning nonstop from the vertigo I was developing.

Yeah. Had it for two weeks. Binged on store bought cheesecake squares at my grandma's house for skme sort of celebration.
Threw up most of it within 2 days. The rest of the time I was bed ridden with fever and the like. It was god awful. I was about 8 I think.

I don't remember what the fuck I ate really, but it was my school's food, because it was famous for making people sick. I was like 16. But I had no choice because I left my lunch at home, and well, for once I eat there I shouldn't have such terrible fucking luck

Anyway, I did, and I remember getting very sick to the point of having a extremely high fever, I had hallucinations and couldn't even keep a conversation going. My mother let me sleep in her bed because it was the room closest to the bathroom. I remember having a sudden urge to puke and ran to the bathroom. As I vomited I started to shit myself at te same time, it was too late. I couldn't stop and it was diarrhea everywhere.

My mom just watched in horror but thank god when it was done she helped me. I felt like the most useless human ever. God bless her.

I had this 4 week period when got the flu and the common cold back to back in January where everything i ate would make me feel really bloated and unwell and i would have to drop everything to go empty my bowels at least twice a day I'd get migraines headaches I'm pretty sure it was the 30 days of ibuprofen that fucked up my gut bacteria, because it didn't really go away until i took probiotics.

I've had:
Giardiasis. Most likely picked it up on a backpacking trip. ~5 days of liquid shits and mild fever. Tindamax worked well.
Campylobacteriosis. Unsure how I picked this fella up. Worse that giardia. You're left wondering if the firehose effect out your ass will ever stop. Awful. Few days of Cipro and life was better.
Salmonella: Likely bad eggs from a shithole diner. Puking into the tub while shitting my brains out on the toilet. That was fun. Resolved in about 36 hours. No treatment other than Gatorade.

Probably the worst I had earlier this year I was shitting bloodwater for 3 days straight, the first day I was vomiting constantly as well.
Bad sausage. I remember opening the packet and smelling it and thinking it might have been bad, but it wasn't that strong so I thought maybe it was just the flavour, and I also didn't want to go buy takeaway instead. The other person who also ate them didn't get sick so I'm assuming now that only one of them had gone bad and I got it.
I also got sick from hotdogs a couple of times in a row so I stopped buying them for a long time.
