I think a criminally underrated hot dog is the plain pork hot dog on a soft white bun with a bit of ketchup. Wrapped in tinfoil is even better since it steams itself in there.

Same goes for a grill charred beef hot dog with ketchup and brown mustard on a toasted bun.

Get a hotdog steamer. The hot dogs go in the bottom drawer and the buns get steamed on the top drawer. Then make sure your mise is super tight and everything is correctly proportioned and it’ll be just like a really hot dog good cart.

Real metal ones are kind of expensive but i got a cheap plastic one for $30 that actually works super well. I figure if i use it 2-3 times a year i wont get too much cancer from the plastic and it doesnt get that hot.
