You know those "Halal" packaged meats you see at the supermarket? This is how it's done. Unlike regular slaughter, animals are not stunned before slaughter because ritual states that the animal must be fully conscious when it gets its arteries cut.

For most of human history, animals would be slaughtered like that, and that is how it's done in small farms where people live off their animals. You cut the arteries and let them bleed off.

I did that with my dad when I was around 8. We killed a chicken together. It's just how it is.

If you actually click the link, it just says it's film from an abattoir (slaughterhouse). Halal meat is not "slaughtered", it is killed. The Quran states that an animal cannot see another animal be killed, nor may it see the blade before being sliced. Any meat from this processing plant is definetly Haram.

Imagine slaughtering and selling an animal that has been sitting in the sun for a week or so.

The simple rules, "slaughter animals that are alive", basically prevents these faggots from dying.

I guess what I am trying to say is that these people need those rules otherwise they would also endanger you. With rotten meat in your food.

The process however is not needed. Anyone with an IQ over room temperature can figure out not to eat spoiled meats. Even if it takes them one or two bites.

Yeah but if there's a better alternative that causes less stress to the animal now, why not use it? And during most of history and for people on small farms, I don't think they were constantly slaughtering animals one after another for hours every day.

Ritual slaughter is purely unnecessary suffering.

Stun the goddamn animal beforehand, these cuts leave the spinal cord and thus the ability to feel pain. Many of the time the animal is alive and very aware of what's happening for a long time (in the order of minutes) after they've been cut.

I say this as a guy who eats a lot of meat, there's no reason to be overly cruel about it. Stun the goddamn animal, electrically, rod to the brain, whatever.
