Reminder that being a picky eater is among the most childish, low class personality traits an adult can have. This is a thread for stories about picky eaters you've known and general picky eater hate.

Imagine being a human garbage disposal. Imagine willingly eating disgusting mushrooms, olives, tomatoes, onions, beets, peas, grapefruit, asparagus, squash, cucumbers, and fish.

I used to be a picky eater when I was a kid. Then I hit puberty, and now I will try literally anything. The only foods I don't like are green beans and sweet potatoes, but I'm still willing to eat them in some dishes. I also avoid super spicy foods, but I consider that less being picky and more not enjoying being in pain when I'm enjoying food. Jalapenos are about as hot as I go, but this thread isn't about what a pussy I am so w/e

>but you don't know if you haven't tasted it DURRRRRR

if I offer you a nail in the nutsack do you have to try it or can you use intelligence and experience?

I was called a picky eater when I was younger and avoided a lot of foods until I was 21 or so. Then I decided to go out and be adventurous with my dining and found out I like most foods. Turns out my parents always overcooked everything to shit and usually under seasoned everything, so I avoided most things because my first exposure to new foods was usually dogshit. Fuck boomers.

It is absolutely miserable to grow up only to realize the couple generations before yours ruined literally fucking everything and provided you with nothing but a narrow escape from CPS.

I'm more orthorexic than picky. I will eat/try anything if I'm comfortable with the ingredients. But I generally try to avoid seed oils, hydrogenated/trans fats, excessive sugar, etc. unless I have to try something out of extreme hunger or respect. Usually the latter.

Why is it always someone else's fault when it comes to picky eaters? My dad was dogshit at cooking too and I still ate whatever he fixed because I was hungry.

What did you eat for dinner? I bet your parents caved and let you eat whatever junk food you wanted since you wouldn't eat anything else. I have a nephew that is picky like that and it's infuriating how my sister enables him.

I made my own steak in a pan. Medium rare rather than hockey-puck. Personal recipe with soy sauce, oyster sauce, touch of black truffle oil, and other things I won’t say. Side of seasoned mashed potatoes and butter.

I split my ballsack open on the stem of my bike handlebars. So I know from experience. Hurt more than a nail through the nut sack because it was a blunt force and I got the base of my cock too. Faggit.
