does anybody else think picrel is Adam's worst video? It's the antithesis of everything his videos stand for and is a major stick out from his typical extreme low effort style when it comes to videos. I see Adam as the ultimate exercise in pragmatic cooking, sparing little thought for complex ingredients that are hard to get ahold of or complex and chefy-y technique that takes practice and effort. But this video is exactly that: extremely stupid impossible to acquire ingredients that he clearly took on because of a sponsor. And at the end of the day I don't blame him, I just find it extremely hypocritical when he gets angry people would critique his technique &/or adherence to tradition but then drop something so specific like this.

I agree. In most of his videos he tries to teach people how to cook with what they have and has said before that he tries to explain what each ingredient does so people can make substitutions. The videos where he makes other Korean food are more like his usual style but the sponsored ones strike me as unusual like you've said.
