No, I just bought them a couple of years ago off Amazon (for $15). The issue is the onion holder thingy doesn’t lock so it’s really no different then just holding the onion with your hand (which is in fact easier).

I've only used the Y shaped peelers, so those are the classic ones for me. The OXO handle is comfortable to hold, but they're generally uncomfortable to use .
I don't think it's wasteful, but I've never used the knifegrip peelers so maybe I just don't know. I did have a cabbage peeler that was jagged and took off thick layers off stuff.

Got the instant pot duo crisp. I wouldn't buy a pressure cooker or an air fryer by themselves but this duo made sense to me. So far I use it 2-3 times a week so it has been worth it. I got the 8 quart so I can fit a lot in. Can cook and crisp a full chicken in an hour. I've done roasts that turned out perfect medium. It's nice when I don't want to use the oven and heat up my house (no ac).
