Today I learned something interesting /ck/. I called Quaker and Robinhood to see if their Minute Oats could be eaten raw, without cooking them for the marketed ~1 minute duration. Turns out these Quaker oats can be eaten raw, while the Robinhood oats can not.

I didn't do this because I am too lazy to spend a minute microwaving food. Instead I've been wanting to put oats in my smoothies without cooking them as having the sloppy cooked oat texture would be unpleasant in my opinion. Also, I couldn't find a consistent source saying whether they were safe to ingest raw or not. Some blogfags said yes, while other no. I guess they were both technically correct. The universal 'do not eat raw' motto, remains with all purpose flour.

What knowledge would you like to share anon?

To put Freestyle Coke machines into service mode press the pour button 4 times in rapid succession and then hold the ice dispenser. This isn't super helpful to you but it can ruin a wagie's day.

Bugs are in literally every kind of grain in sometimes significant numbers. The grain used for brewing can be pretty infested so I can't imagine how bad the stuff that becomes flour is.

Get oats --> mason jar ---> Add whey protein ---> Add peanut butter ---> add banana and than mix and leave it overnight.
