I tried our popular La Grille Montreal Chicken seasoning and it's gross, tastes too much of dill.

What's a ready sold seasoning that you like?

Learn to experiment with different spices you absolute pleb. There's not 1 right spicemix, it depends entirely on the dish.
Personally I love this moroccan inspired spicemix though and use it all the time

1 1/2 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp coriander
1 1/2 tbsp white sugar
2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cardamom
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp cayenne pepper

Its legit anon. Has a "zing" to it if that makes sense. Wouldn't use it as an actual statics l f sauce. Great as a marinade or a cooked chicken dipping sauce

>ready sold seasoning
Buy the ready sold: powdered cumin, powdered paprika, powdered onion, powdered garlic, powdered salt, powdered black pepper, and powdered brown sugar. Combine these store-bought powdered ingredients into a singular powder.
Recommended proportions: 1 part salt, paprika; 1/2 part cumin, garlic, onion, brown sugar; 1/4 part black pepper; use cayenne pepper to taste if you like it spicy.
Pro-tip: season the chicken with the mixture excluding the brown sugar, wrap in bacon, add the brown sugar and season the outside of the bacon. Bake this for ~25 minutes at 350 degrees F.

If this isn’t good enough for you, McFuckingKillYourSelf faggot. Go eat McDonald’s.

typically, blends are not a good way to go. if you like a particular flavor profile of a blend, read the ingredients and buy the individual components then experiment with your own combination of those spices. you can build off that knowledge to learn how to properly season things to your taste.
for example, taco seasoning. typically it is cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and paprika. cumin is the dominant flavor but you wont learn about the subtle smoke flavor that the paprika adds unless you taste it on its own.
