Really depends where you go and how much you are willing to pay. I have been to some $90-$120 per person buffets that have really high quality ingredients (I'm talking about smoked wild salmon, others types of cured fish, New Zealand lamb, beef tenderloin, carving stations with free range Turkey or a pork roast, salmon or beef wellington, crab legs, lobster bisque. I probably wouldn't bother with really cheap buffets I'd feel like shit after them. Went to a $20 per person Indian buffet once and regretted it.
