yes but sometimes they are the only method to get food from a certain place, especially while working.

>> No.16075765

they're the worst. they exploit drivers by paying them less than minimum wage with no benefits, leaving them poorer and with huge wear and tear on their car. then they exploit restaurants by interesting their delivery orders(!) while often charging as much as 30% more per item that they just pocket. THEN they fuck over the customers by charging them 20% in fucking fees and have the audacity to tell users to tip the drivers they fuck over.

shit needs to end.

Truth.
This whole industry is exploitative and basically fucks over everyone involved in the transaction except the baby blood drinking tech oligarchs that get to take a slice out of a bunch of small businesses.

If you must be a disgusting piece of shit please at least stick to fast food delivery so the business getting fucked over is evil.

If you are using these services regularly you need to take a long look at your life and figure out where things went wrong.

> what makes the drivers bad
They are bottom tier scum and frequently do disgusting shit.

We had to report one driver for picking up an order, walking into our public restroom, and setting the food bag on the bathroom floor between his legs while he pissed in a urinal.

Reported another driver because on of my hosts witnessed him reach into customer food to grab some duck fries.

When shit like this happens they just ban the driver from the complaining restraust. So those disgusting fucks just got shuffled to other restraunts.

We also get complaints from customers fucking constantly for fucked up shit the driver pulls. Showing up obscenely late, having other people in the car, destroying orders, being rude as fuck, one locally even recently got into an argument with a customer and she had to call the cops to come trespass his ass to get him out of her driveway.

Delivery services are late stage trash and their drivers are largely fucking scum. If you order from these places you deserve what you get.

It needed to be delivered by a certain time and he was going to be late. They called me because he left without taking food, I guess he was going to do another delivery. I had to drive to get my food, and they gave me a free cookie as an apology and then 5 minutes later the delivery driver was calling and texting and crying about not getting to do delivery and missing the big tip (was ordering for a family thing).

How about you do a simple online search. Not sure why I would even bother trying to argue with someone who scams themselves into working for deliver apps when they don't understand basic business ideas like gross vs net income. If you sit down and do the math on how much driving a vehicle costs you would realize these apps are a waste of time.

The IRS let's you deduct 56 cents per mile when you use your car for business use, which illustrates how expensive it is. Think about feeding your car a dollar every 2 miles you drive
