Cooking with wine only makes food taste good because it's a self-fulfilling meme.

My brother is like this.
Except it not just wine it's various drink.
He makes a "special" sauce that like 95% booze and drowns all his food in it and he drinks the "sauce" afterwards. It's just a roundabout way of him not confronting his alcoholism by pretending he's drinking "sauce" and not actually drinking booze.
