I'm pretty sure this is the result of everything in America being made in factories. There's no such thing as local bakers or butchers in most places in the USA so all the food is created in factories and of course has to be laden with preservatives to be shipped across the entire continent. Even produce has to be treated like crazy (eg wax on the apples) because of this. When production and consumption of food is so spread out without any local sources being available it inevitably leads to widespread decline of food culture.

Well if eat brunch (breakfast and lunch) i prefer the English one otherwise if it is breakfast and lunch i choose the nordic breakfast.

We don't have time for breakfast in America. We barely have time to throw a pint of coffee down our throats before rushing to the office for another fulfilling 18 hour day. Maybe if Brits and Euros tried doing a bit of work they wouldn't be so poor.
