cooking sucks
fast food sucks
frozen dinners suck

I need something that's easy to eat and that's still healthy, Is there a diet without going through so much bullshit like cooking or ordering food from someone? should I just eat sandwiches?

chicken breast
>wash your chicken, put it in a bowl of hot water for a few minutes
>put oil and pepper or other seasoning if you would like
>bake it in the oven or fry it on a pan or air fryer
boom you have chicken breast, can do this with any mean, pork chops, steak, beef

I'm not that lazy. I don't have a lot of free time on my hands right now.

>>16038344
Thanks for the ideas, but I actually really need it to be even simpler. I don't have time to do things like make a smoothie or microwave something.

I'm thinking more along the lines of lunch meat, fruits, beef jerky, easy to grab and go snacks.

the breakthrough you're having changed my entire life immeasurably for the better.
there was once a thread on r*dd*t, since deleted, by someone with the "Fresh Out The Hospital For Depression Fuck-It-I'm-Not-Cooking Still-Need-To-Eat MealPlan", or something like that.

It's lost at the moment, but some big takeaways I took from it:
Grocery-Store Rotisserie Chicken. Loss-leader and cheap ready-to-eat lean protein.
They liked canned tuna, I don't do seafood, but same idea.
Plain Greek yogurt is high-protein and can be supplemented with fruit jams, honey, nuts, flaxseed, chia, berries, etc. to make a substantive instant meal
Pay attention to bloodsugar, eat something almost immediately upon waking (ideally higher in protein and fat than simple-carbs) like, literally, 90-120 seconds, not an hour later when your stomach's settled.
Find a dark-leafy-green you like fresh. I like baby spinach, guide liked bulk-boxes of Spring Mix. Salad isn't castigative "health food", it's stuff-you-can-eat-without-cooking. Lots of vegetables you may not like cooked can be eaten raw.
Man there was a lot of stuff. Oatmeal with very simple flavorings is an effortless morning breakfast.
The memories are hazy, but I got a physical-job around the same time, and every other day I would go to the store at lunch and get a 5 dollar deli chicken, a 99 cent bag of babycarrots, a green bell pepper (to slice), a tub of hummus to dip them in, and a 32oz tub of whole plain greek yogurt. Those would be my lunches. In the mornings I would have 1packet of strawberries+cream instant oatmeal mixed with 1/2 cup plain Whole Rolled Oats, water to cover in the microwave 60 seconds. With a cup of milk+sugar coffee. Whatever I'd have for dinner, didn't matter, but eating like that looked fucking great. I remember watching myself transform into a hardbody across 6-9 months. I never "abstained" from indulgent foods either, but just ironed out my by-habit meals to be effortless and nutritional.

MAKE TIME. That 2 hours of your day you spend fapping to tranny porn and BLACKED could be spent meal prepping. It's called time management, and matter how poor and busy you really claim to be, I guarantee you that someone very rich is even more so and still makes their own food and finds the time to do so. There are tons of resources for simple, cheap and easy-to-make meals all over this amazing thing called the Internet. I suggest you do some research, or make enough money to hire your own private chef. good luck

sandwiches as a midday protein bomb are actually fairly common workerlunches for some cut dudes. Any breadroll, lump of deli meat, cheese and mustard to taste, "half now half later", stuff like that. high in preservatives though, ideally you're cooking more of your diet's lean protein in fresh less-processed form. Still.

don't stress that much about it, "sodium" even as I used it is half-a buzzword. though excess dietary-sodium is water soluble and flushed out on a routine cycle. I've been told potassium chronically accumulates in a way that sodium doesn't, but that might be hearsay.
"nitrates" is the genericized buzzword for saltypreservatives such as found in ""Sausage"", hotdogs, pepperonis and baloneys and salamis and hams and etc.

Just accentuate the positive. My motto in life, truly, is "Baby Steps", do what you can right now just as long as it's in the right direction. Complexity is discouraging, start small.

>> No.16038863

>>16038832
If sodium is flushed out do I just need to drink more water to keep blood pressure low? also I ran some numbers and I'm getting about 1500mg of sodium a day, which seems okay.

It think I'm just going to have to compromise easy meat, so I'll buy a cut of meat and cook it (should take like 10 minutes) and I'll buy foods like apples, bananas, nuts/seeds and veggies you can just grab and eat immediately.

Unless anyone knows a low preservative cold cut...

Sodium isn't usually a problem desu, Nitrites on the other hand genuinely do cause cancer and preserved meats are full of them. Also the ones that say "no nitrites added" or "uncured" are lying and there's always some tiny print saying so

Grab a celery, snap off a rib*, dunk in peanut butter.

*True timesavers will take a knife and cut the whole celery at the root end, where the green turns white. A quick wash, throw in a pitcher with a bit of water to keep freshish.
Not really saving time to not wash; faster to do it all at once.

If you have 4 minutes once a week to make a batch of tuna salad, celery is good with it, too.
