But in general, it's insane to think of the garbage I was fed as a child. I think a lot of it was out of ignorance and not a lack of love. My mother used to give me this slop for dinner. Just plain white pasta with this sauce mixed in. Sometimes she'd tear up some ham and throw that in.

What's worse is that we aren't even poor. She could've easily given me something more nutritional that just pure carbohydrates. No wonder I'm such a fuckup.

My friend and I both found out we .make the same "dish" every so often. Buttered noodles with grated Parmesan cheese 9n it. We call it Bachelor's Delight. It is really cheap and easy. Sometimes I'll make my fancy version where zi make shrimp scampi that has extra sauce then toss that with pasta suited red peppers mushrooms and maybe add some choped Italian parsley.
