How do I build a tolerance to hot food? Are there any tricks to it or just keep eating spicy stuff and endure the flaming shits?

It pretty much is a thing you have to build up over time
Making a homemade salsa verde could help since it's pretty easy to make and you can add any peppers you want. And if you want it hotter you can just add hotter peppers with almost no loss of flavor.

You just have to build your tolerance. Try different foods of different heat ranges and once you find your comfort zone keep pushing it. Also, find a hot sauce you like and put it on/in things.

I got tired of being the bitch who couldn’t handle spice so I did the same thing you are talking about. I can how eat raw jalapeño on sandwiches and enjoy the flavor.

Start with pic related. Get used to them, then eat foods with raw jalapenos, and you should easily work your way up from there.

If you're getting flaming shits you need more fiber in your diet. Not carbs, fiber. Also try eating fresh peppers more than sauces and extract at first. Much better way to get an idea of where your tolerance actually is. There are people who think Tabasco is too much...

You won't build a physical tolerance, only a mental one.
Constantly eating spicy foods will only train your taste buds to be more sensitive to heat, like working out a muscle.

>> No.16019272

hot and spicy foods have never had an effect on any bottom business for me (and i'm happy to eat lava) - is that really not just a meme?

Why would you build up a tolerance? Just enjoy food the way you like it.

>> No.16019308

Only edge lords brag about their heat tolerance, too spicy is just pain and used to hide shitty food.

Is spicy food tolerance genetic? I've never ate hot/spicy food and had bad shits afterward. I always thought that was a meme or TV trope for the longest time.
