Bulleit Rye is better than the bourbon and generally underrated. This board has a hard-on bad for single barrel, and I don't really get why. It burns without much redeeming oak flavor. Small Batch is the superior Four Roses, and if you disagree then I'm guessing you're someone who thinks Basil Hadyn's is good because it's 104 proof, or someone who unironically buys Turkey 101. You don't like bourbon, you just think it impresses your friends because you spent 40 bucks on a bottle of whiskey.

Right now my favorite bourbon's are the four roses single barrel, old forester 1920, bakers small batch, and maker's mark cask strength

whats the deal with 1920? I've not had any Old Forester, but I hear the 100 proof is ok and will likely start with that, but banana forward spirits are typically not my jam. How do they compare? over $60 for the 1920 seems steep when I can get a multitude of Jim Beam for less than half that.
