Just splashed some cheap bourbon into a mug of mint tea. I'm going to call it a Mint Fuckup, then have another.

Same for both.

not sure yet, probably just some rittenhouse rye since my sense of smell isn't great due to allergies. not going to waste any of the good stuff while I'm stuffy.

still looking for Rare Breed. chain stores say "its on the way" and that there is a list of names waiting for it. got this instead since the new Arran bottles are beginning to pop up. nothing fancy but made me realize Glendronach 12 is not as heavily sherried as I thought as they are nearly identical, exchange Glendro's spiciness with a hint of coconut and pineapple. nice warm weather pour.

Pilsners and pale ales give the brewer nowhere to hide. If you're judging skills, look for them there.

I bought Talisker 10 / Dalwhinnie 15 because easter sales were good.
Last thing I drank was Laphroaig Lore.
Eyes are on Coonemara Distillers.

I've long been disappointed in the lack of sherry character in Glendronach. Despite the advertising material and what people here say about it being a sherry bomb, there's plenty of whisky with short sherry finishes that are fruitier.

Whoever said they liked glenmorangie ten a few days ago, thanks, bought a bottle, it's pretty good.
