It's shit.
Specifically, it has no flavor whatsoever. You know the experience of when you eat a handful of Wendy's fries, and you are surprised that they don't have any salt or flavor? The "how in the world can a restaurant stay in business selling this" feeling? They've managed to replicate that in a sandwich. There's 0 salt and 0 flavor, I mean no hyperbole by this. Not even the flavor of sugar and grease, just nothing. It's kind of amazing.
And it costs $6.50 for just the sandwich.
Can anyone who likes this restaurant explain yourselves?

Yeah, I know what you're saying, but that's why it was surprising. It really had less flavor than the normal versions of those ingredients, but I have no idea how

I knew that accusation was coming, but in all seriousness I had it about a month and a half ago and I've been fully recovered for a while now. The Wendy's sandwich just had no flavor and the fries had a faint smell of chlorine or windex, like they didn't fully rinse whatever cleaning product they used to clean the machine before putting in more oil

long covid, I know people that've had to wait months for their sense of taste to return. Do onions taste like sulphur to you?

I would agree anon. I really liked their previous chicken jalapeños sandwich I thought it really was their best. This sandwich is such a downgrade, lack of salt for sure

Your taste buds are damaged, all this sandwich tastes of is salt and grease

their bacon is pretty good on everything else but they put it on this and it loses all flavor??

Had one a few days ago. Never again. Blaze up.

i’m mostly recovered from covid-19 infection from december but my taste and smell are still only maybe halfway there. many foods just taste like bland versions of themselves + the smell of mold to me. welcome to the club

Nah, I'm actually fully recovered. Though I never exactly "lost my sense of taste and smell" like many people said. It was actually more like everything just tasting different and worse. Many foods took on a bloody or metallic flavor that they didn't have before.
Either way, you're not going to convince me that I just think all other tastes are now completely back to normal and Wendy's sandwich is the only thing that I'm still noticing the effects of covid for. That does not make sense.

Yikes!! 13 cents per g of brotein is the most I'll pay.

Bro, seriously. They want $15 for a fast food meal these days. That's how much you'll pay for two of these and a medium fries. What a fucking ripoff.

>> No.15975684

After eating it, I would agree that it should be $3 AT MOST for what you get. It's not that good

None of the jalapeno themed sandwiches are good because jalapeno tastes bad, one of the worst fucking peppers.
First fast food chain to make a pepper jack chile relleno sandwich is gonna win the sandwich wars

This is true. Why are they so popular? Serranos are better in all respects.
