There are several different kinds of long Covid- one kind where internal organs got fukked like lung scarring, maybe liver/kidney scarring, etc. Maybe the organs can regenerate over time, maybe not. Another seems to be neurological in nature where people just always taste/smell smoke or other foul shit, some CEO of a big company just offed himself because the tinnitus was so bad he couldn't stand it, probably had other issues as well. Then there's a third where it resembles post-infectious fatigue syndrome, aka ME/CFS, where a main symptom is post-exertional malaise (shitty name, it's bad news), where you're always fucking tired as shit, headaches, body aches, brain fog, etc. and when you exert yourself you get completely fuxxored for weeks (or longer) afterwards. One more kind I can't remember too I think.
t. been basically housebound with CFS since 2004, first symptoms I can distinctly attribute was 1996, the summer I graduated high school
