It's a bunka, basically a K-tip santoku. Basically it's like using a santoku, with a little more of a pointy tip which allows you to do some more intricate work with it at the price of being more prone to breakage (though this is a soft SS so shouldn't be that much of an issue). I would say that as bunka profiles go this one is a bit flat nosed at the front, not all the way to being a nakiri but not as nimble as a bunka with more of an acute angle on the tip.
