What do you eat with Buffalo wings? I'm not American so I've never had them but want to soon.

Nothing. No reason for a dipping sauce if the wings are already drenched in Buffalo.

Good wings don't need anything, but if they're boring, some blue cheese sauce is fine to dip in

I like some cold bleu cheese dressing on the side and a nice rice pilaf compliments them perfectly.

You either be a fatass or getting unusually small wings. For me, 10-12 wings with a side of fries is plenty for a meal.

>Blue cheese is the only acceptable dressing for Buffalo style wings
This, the combination of buttery-garlickly-hot saucey-vinegary sauced wings being cooled a bit by funky blue cheese, also cooling the heat, or getting a celery cleansing palate intermission, between sips of cold beer, that is the best.

Appetizer or just a happy hour kind of shared basket for finger foods. If the basket is 20 items and you really want them you might make it your main, get a side of fries or something else off the menu, eat like on your own with your beer.

Fries or maybe tots as a side, good ranch or blue cheese as a side dip - people will tell you it's one or the other but secretly both are fine. I tend to stray toward ranch if I know the place makes its own and blue cheese if I don't trust the quality as much. Also the pro move is to not dip the wings in the ranch/blue cheese but to dip the fried potato product in it instead.
