I really love poutine but it's kind of become a food that people think is way better than it is. You would never go oot to get it, you're much better off just making it at home. I also hate that restaurants are like fucking with it by throwing on tons of other ingredients that are obviously good, but don't belong on poutine, simply to charge people even more while keeping food cost low.

if you live in the north central US or find yourself there, go find some greezy diner and have them make you a legit poutine with the wisconsin curds that are way better than whatever we get. Don't go somewhere upscale and expect the poutine to be worth the 19 bucks you'll probably pay.
