I'm looking for pasture raised meats. Beef and chicken seem to be really easy to find. I can't find pasture raised bacon anywhere in person. Farmers markets are still closed in my city, I think. I can find it online from places like crowd cow/porter road.
So, I guess I'm looking for review of those services and/or good humane brand recommendations.
Thanks bros

I guess I meant free-range, not exactly pasture grazing. I get that they eat all kinds of shit. There are a bunch of vague terms thrown into packaging like "never caged" or "humanly raised", often without any type of certification. Even the three types of certificatikns I've found are fairly vague.

Oxymoron. Just stop eating meat altogether if you want to be humane, or at the very least only eat animals you know died naturally.

Hit up farmers who do home slaughter. Also look for regenerative farms. There is a website that has a list of it. Get a chest freezer and get a share of the animal. I have been working on a quarter cow for almost a year if that gives you perspective on how long a single animal can last you.

I don't eat meat. The wife didn't eat meat for 10+ years but now she's pregnant and needs meat.

Thanks homie. I'll poke around. She's pretty small, and she's planning out her meals ahead of time so we should be able to get a good handle on quantity

check your local hutterite, amish communities or what have you.
and remember pigs eat their own and each others shit even if they have a ready supply of food nearby.
