Idk if you're memeing but they actually failed because Corporate overplayed their hand and tried to bloodsuck as much out of their franchise owners that they could. So even though the subs were way more interesting than Subways, it was almost impossible to make a profit if you bought one because all the supplies that they required you to buy from them was so retardedly marked up that the price that you were supposed to sell the subs at didn't actually cover the costs. Fucking past-eater execs killed the company because they were literally too stupid to know how to make actual money long term.
