So what's the deal with coffee?
I've done some research and this seems to be the consensus for quality

>Shit
Instant

>Mediocre
Pods

>Decent
Percolator/Moka

>Good
Drip

>Better
French press, pour-over

>Best
Machine

What's your take?

As long as you're using high quality fresh ground beans and properly making the coffee. Time, technique, water temp and quality. It all becomes a matter of preference. Take pour over for an example. By using a stainless filter rather than paper it changes the coffee quite a bit. Some like paper.. some like stainless.

FWIW those elektras are volcano-hot across their entire surface and are retardedly dangerous and a pain in the ass to use because of that.

Alsoi FWIW all of those methods make a different product and are not mutually exclusive. I have a machine, V60, french press, drink instant.

It's like you're putting "proteins" in a hierarchy.

In what world does the quality of instant compare to machine coffee?

The point is they're not the same thing. They're only made of the same plant.

Percolators and moka pots are entirely different. Percolators make shit burnt coffee. Moka pots are top tier coffee

the only consensus is that instant coffee and coffe pods are shit
the other methods are all viable, it all depends on what kind of coffee you want
