I was in some shitty domestic Chinese airline. after a small snackpack with some fruit, pickled vegetables, roll and yogurt, the stewardess came around with a big container of baozi and passed them out. They weren't amazing baozi but tasted really good because I was starving. I even got a second one.

Airplane meals suck as a general rule. Honestly I'd rather have a hot pocket (which are pretty gross) than most shit they try to serve you that's passed off as "fancy" on an airplane. At least you know what you're getting then and it isn't some fucking disgusting "beef wellington".

turkish airlines business class, an appetizer sampler platter of local cheeses, like 2 or 3 different kinds of olives, honeycomb, some kind of eggplant-based dip, and a few other things i can't remember right now. the main course was also great but the sheer variety and quality of the appetizers really impressed me

Bibimbap on a Korean air flight. I wouldn't say it was particularly noteworthy in and of itself, I literally had a much better bowl a few hours later at the airport when I landed, but it was mindblowing how much better it was than anything you get on american domestic flights.

emirates business class. the lounge at JFK before boarding had a buffet unlike any ive seen. the private jet bridge was also a nice touch. no waiting at the gate with common folk

Delta business class meal.
Started with charcuterie and a tito's soda
Main: broccollini with steak au poirve with black label
Dessert: fudge ice cream with various crunchy cookies and Port wine

It was nothing amazing, but I was half wrecked and fell asleep to Blue Planet. Not a bad experience. Got a mimosa when it was morning to finish it off. Getting drunk at airports/planes is awesome.

Not a meal but I was in first class from SEA-SNA and we were delayed at the gate for about 2 hours a bunch of folks got off but I stayed in my seat and the flight attendant kept bringing me beers I was pretty drunk by the time we finally got in the air
