IF you had to use 1 condiment in every meal for the rest of your life, what would you use?

Ketchup? Mayo? Jelly?

My buddy and I were talking and we came to the conclusion that pic related can be enjoyed in almost any meal without entirely ruining it. You can throw honey in or on just about any food and it won't render it inedible.

Honey on toast? awesome
Honey in tea? great
Honey on steak? not ideal but still very edible
Honey on a salad? very doable

What do you guys think? My wife tried to convince me that mayo would be a better option but I don't see it.

Honey sounds better than mayo.
Mayo in tea sounds wrong.

But butter might be a runner up. Just melt it and put it on a salad.

A tiny bit of honey and a small pinch of salt works nicely in oatmeal.

does lemon juice count as a condiment? If not a lemon juice and neutral oil vinaigrette but with the ratios reversed

Oh man. Butter could almost work. Don't some people put butter in tea? Maybe I should put together a tier list.

Watch your tone, I invented mustard.

Go hypothetical all you want while you're in school but once you get into real life it doesn't quite work hypothetically.

It works in a tuna melt. I prefer lime juice but lemon works.

well then lemon juice all the way. It'll work in any drink you can think of, it won't get in the way of any dessert and it'll be fine with any savory dish, even the ones where you usually wouldn't use it. Lemon juice on fried chicken? Don't mind if I do. Lemon juice on ice cream? Can't really hurt anything. So yeah, lemon juice
